About Us

New Potential Care aims to eliminate the stigma attached to Children and Young People in Care by offering them all the same opportunities available all children and Young People coupled with encouragement to inspire and achieve their full potential, ensuring that the good work offered by our dedicated team is sustained both in the short and longer term via our Distinctive Delivery Process.

New Potential Care believes that every Child and Young Person has the right to have the same opportunities as their peers in an environment that is nurturing, supportive and safe in enabling all to reach their full potential, through empowering them to take control of their lives in a positive and supportive manner.

New Potential Care provides a culturally sensitive service catering for a wide selection of client groups including Asian, African and Caribbean minority Communities (and Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers/Refugees), this also includes clients groups who identify themselves as White British.

New Potential Care was established in the hope of redressing the imbalance that some Children and Young People face in the care system due to discrimination such as; sexism, racism, and any other prejudices. Children and Young People in the Care System are faced with negative stereotyping which is, unfortunately, a reality for many Children and Young People Looked After today.

We focus on working with Children and Young People to enable them to express themselves in a supportive/controlled environment, where extensive work can be carried out, both formally and informally. This, in turn, empowers the Child and Young Person to come to terms and deal with their emotional, educational, social and cultural needs.

New Potential Care works with Children and Young People who have challenging behaviour and/or offending behaviour. Each Placement offers each client an individualistic approach to his or her identified needs. In addition, we provide positive aspects in Children and Young People’s lives to enable them Respect Differences, Value Diversity and Empower them to take control of their lives.
